INFLUENTIAL ITALIAN CHEFS
Massimo Bottura is one of Italy’s top chefs. He is a partner in Osteria Francescana, consistently one of the world’s top five restaurants. He collaborated with Marta Pulini on Franceschetta 58, an informal brasseries and bar in Modena. Since then he has opened Ristorante Italia di Massimo Botturo in Istanbul and Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura in Florence. He is the author of several books including Never Trust a Skinny Italian Chef.
Gennaro Contaldo is a legendary Italian chef who mentored Jamie Oliver. The two since have collaborated on Jamie’s Italian in London. His move from Italy to England was due in part to the availability of game and fungi in England, both of which are important components of Amalfitan cuisine. Gennaro has appeared on numerous TV shows including a four-part series for the BBC, Two Greedy Italians. He has authored a number of cookbooks including Gennaro: Let’s Cook Italian.
